Sea Turtle Webcast First of Its Kind

71406turtle.jpg

This is not recommended in place of going out, but tonight at 9 p.m. you can log on to Megotta.com and for the first time watch sea turtles, one of the oldest species on the planet, lay their eggs. A team from Australia plans to use infared lights and cameras to capture images which will then be sent via satellite and downloaded to a server for webcast purposes. The Miami Herald has more on the story and the team's goal of raising awareness about the need for sea turtle conservation.
