The Invisible Plane Crash

How does that phrase go again? It's something like "do not falsely shout fire in a crowded theater". Anyway, we think similar advice should be applied to plane crashes. According to local10.com, someone called the US Coast Guard from Mt. Sinai Hospital claiming that they had seen a plane crash into the water at around noon. The caller also reported seeing a person standing on the wing and waving. The Julia Tuttle Causeway and the surrounding areas were searched by emergency crews, but there was no evidence that anything out of the ordinary had happened.

There was a report around the same time that an airbus was arriving at Miami International airport with severe hydraulic failure, but he plane arrived at the airport safely. The Coast Guard probably should have checked which wing the call originated from...psych ward perhaps?
