Please Remember To Take All Luggage And Birds With You
Bird Flu has been a hot topic in the last few months. Apparently, one guy didn't get the memo about how it probably isn't a great idea to bring a dead bird into the country.
Customs officials at Miami International Airport stopped a Nigerian man who came in on a flight from Milan, Italy after discovering some sort of mixture with bird remains. Officials are not sure yet whether there was more than one bird. The remains were discovered by a U.S. customs officer and K-9 border protection according to local10.com.
The man was released after questioning, but the birds were quarantined and will be incinerated. There is no evidence at this time that the birds were carrying the avian flu. According to a story on The Miami Herald Web site, carrying dead birds is not something that airport officials were suprised by.
