Knock Knock...What's There?

alligator.jpg

Lori Pachelli heard a knock at the door and luckily decided to take a quick look at who was standing on the other side. What she saw was an 8-foot bull alligator banging its head against the door. A freaked out Pachelli called her husband who jumped in the car and headed home to the gated community in Bonita Springs to save his captured wife and cocker spaniel named Trooper. The gator eventually got the hint that he wasn't going to receive an invitation for tea and headed back to the lake where he was captured by a trapper named John French.

During breeding season it is not uncommon for alligators to venture into strange areas. The "crawl" season typically begins in April.
