Miami Beach Ecstasy Bust

The DEA and Miami Beach Police uncovered a drug lab this morning in an apartment on 11th Street and Alton Road. According to the DEA, the first ever Ecstasy lab to be discovered in South Beach was producing about 10,000 pills daily, worth about $250,000. A 32-year-old Miami Beach resident has been taken into federal custody and is now facing charges. According to a story by CBS4.com, agents found equipment and material in the apartment used to make the drug, which is typically produced in Europe.
