The Perfect Mojito

Mojito.jpg
Last summer, cocktail connoisseurs in cities throughout the United States caught on to what the people of Miami have known for years. The mojito, a concoction of mint, lime, rum and sugar, is the perfect chilled drink for a hot afternoon or a steamy night.

The origin of the mojito is not totally clear, but it is said to have its roots from Cuba early this century. Even Ernest Hemingway sipped a few in his time. There are hundreds of recipes, and tips, but one of the keys to a successful mojito seems to be fresh lime and mint. If you are in the mood to just sit back and sip, Miamist recommends the Royale Mojito at Tapas & Tintos located on Espanola Way in Miami Beach. This $12 cocktail is made by an experienced bartender fresh in front of your eyes. Plan to stay for some tapas though; this mojito doesn’t mess around and is seriously strong.

I wish this site be well, the internet in general had existed ten years ago. Thank You for this important work!

$12.00 seems a little extreme plus the drink is half ice. Ya Hoodia
