Dolphins stumble, lose 30-20

On a night where the Chiefs were supposed to have all the jet lag, the Dolphins looked like the tired team. Playing early in the wake of Hurricane Wilma, the Fins looked sloppy throughout the game.

QB Gus Frerotte only managed 125 yards passing and one interception. Rookie Ronnie brown rushed for 95 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown run to start the second half. His backfield mate Ricky WIlliams however, gaind -1 yards on six carries.

The Chiefs running game didn't struggle at all, as Larry Johnson and Priest Holmes combined for 183 yards and three touchdowns, allowing the Chiefs to control the clock for 42 of the game's 60 minutes. All in all the Chiefs totaled 462 yards of offense against a maligned Dolphins defense. The team played without Junior Seau, and they lost defensive starters Sam Madison, Tebucky Jones, Lance Schulters, and Kevin Carter throughout the game to injuries.

The Dolphins are now 2-4 on the season as they will get an extra day or two to get those players healthy before traveling to play New Orleans on October 30th.
